I LOVE this place. I have passed by El Burito so many times and never went in. Well, Im glad I did. I was running errands and decided to get off the Addison redline stop. This place is small, quaint and quiet. The gentlmen behind the counter were so nice and friendly. It was very clean and organized. I placed my order and sat at my table. I was so surprised to have the cook bring me chips and salsa ,at not charge. I ordered Beef Nachos. The nachos were so DELICIOUS. So cheesy, full of beef and lots of chips. Not greasy at all. The menu was HUGE and has something for everyone! PROS: Food was great Large menu Clean Staff was so friendly Great Prices Not greasy CONS: I wanted more, but to full.

When I entered the restaurant the instant aura I got from it were of high quality. I was greeted by friendly staff who helped me get my food fast. The tacos were amazing! Good flavor with a great green salsa. The quesadilla was a bit bland for my taste but overall not bad.

Nice quick lunch before the cubs game! A group of 7 of us came by for a quick lunch! This place was great! My wife and I shared the 3 tacos dinner with 2 chicken and 1 Al pastor with rice and beans! If you dine in you also get free chips and salad! The chips were just ok nothing impressive! The salsa was pretty good! The mild is the best! The rice and beans were excellent! The tacos were all authentic, fresh and delicious! We definitely recommend this joint for a quick lunch before any cubs game!

So I'm in Chicago visiting my close friend Rick. You might have heard of him from my other reviews. I'm already on mental overload seeing all the beautiful architecture and eating the amazing food in this city. We were on our way to a Cubs game when Rick recommended this Mexican place right near Wrigley field. I'm extremely biased when it comes to breakfast burritos. I'm from Los angeles. We do breakfast burritos the right way. I always contended that there was no way Chicago could have comparable Mexican breakfast burritos to LA. Rick just said wait till you get here. We arrived at El Burrito Mexicano an hour before the game and ordered two chorizo breakfast burritos. We took them to the stadium and found a great place with an awesome view to enjoy what would turn out to be a quite delectable breakfast treat. As I commenced eating this burrito I was pleasantly surprised. The chorizo was extremely flavorful and mixed well with the cheese, rice, beans, and sour cream. My first impression was that everything indide worked really well and was extremely tasty. When I drizzled both the green verde salsa as well as the more spicy red salsa on each bite, the flavors enhanced and the spice to zest ratio was off the charts. Begrudgingly, I started to concede that the Mexican breakfast burritos in Chicago were indeed as good as the ones in Los Angeles. Shayna, I agree that this place is pretty epic. For anybody reading this review, stop by Wrigley a few minutes before the Cubs game starts and get a delectable piece of Chicago Mexican cuisine.

I ordered the burrito de lengua and a taco al pastor. Both were amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. This is right by a cta redline stop, a very good location. Try it if you are ever in the area in Chicago!
